Want to learn how we’d help? →The playbook
For a construction company, the website is your online job site: the first place clients visit before deciding to work with you. It needs to be as solid and reliable as your projects, visually compelling and highly functional, speaking directly to homeowners and big developers alike.
Social media and content marketing for construction aren’t about flashy trends; they’re about showcasing reliability, quality and your commitment to safety and client satisfaction, through strategic content that resonates with your audience.
Just as you wouldn’t start a project without a blueprint, don’t approach digital marketing without a plan. We use local SEO to make sure that when someone in your area searches for construction services, your name is front and centre.
PPC and video marketing are your heavy machinery: powerful and essential for significant impact. A well-targeted ad campaign or a video showcasing your latest project brings your business the attention it deserves.
In construction, your network is your net worth. LinkedIn is where industry professionals and decision-makers gather; we help you build connections, demonstrate expertise and engage potential B2B clients.

Every one of these gets its own playbook, because a construction customer doesn’t search like anyone else’s.

Referrals are how most construction firms are found, and search is how they are checked. A recommendation almost always gets searched before anyone picks up the phone, and what they find decides whether the referral survives. Beyond that, search catches the work referrals do not: the client whose usual contractor is booked, and the procurement team building a shortlist.
Slowly and with evidence. Nobody commissions a build from a form fill on the first visit, so the job is to be visible and credible across a long consideration period: detailed project pages, real photography, the accreditations that matter in your sector, and clear answers to the questions that decide a shortlist. Volume of leads is the wrong measure here, quality is the only one that matters.
They search completely differently, so trying to serve both with the same pages usually serves neither. A homeowner searches for an outcome and worries about disruption and cost. A trade or procurement buyer searches for a capability and worries about accreditation, capacity and compliance. If you do both, they need separate sections of the site written for separate readers.
They help with the decision, which is what search is for. Naming your accreditations clearly, and having them verifiable on the issuing bodies' own registers, is also one of the strongest trust signals available to an AI assistant trying to work out whether to recommend you. It is one of the few places where a construction firm has an easy advantage over a newer competitor.
In this sector they are the single most persuasive asset you have, and most firms have hundreds sitting on a phone. Real project photography, before and after, with a line about what the job involved, does more for conversion than any amount of copy. If you want it done properly, our sister company Biztour handles photography and video.
