What you see

What we report, and why it’s different

Tangible figuresTraffic, acquisitions and goals completed, pulled from your own Google Analytics and Search Console, not our slides.

The stuff that pays billsForm submissions, phone calls and appointment bookings. If a metric doesn’t move the bottom line, we won’t hide behind it.

Case studies

Want to see work like yours?

Every campaign we run is measured, so for any industry we work in we can walk you through live dashboards and real outcomes on a call, relevant to your trade and your area, with context you can interrogate.

We’d rather show you real numbers in a conversation than pin polished write-ups here. Ask us on your discovery call, and we’ll bring the receipts.

Line by line

What is actually in your monthly report

Not a slide deck. A short document you can read in ten minutes, where every figure links back to the tool it came from so you can check it yourself.

The commercial numbers, first

Form submissions, tracked phone calls and bookings, with the previous month and the same month last year alongside them. These lead the report because they are the only numbers that pay for the work. Everything else in the document exists to explain their movement.

Visibility

Where you rank for the terms that matter in the areas you serve, including map pack positions, plus impressions and clicks straight from Google Search Console. Rankings move with the searcher’s location, so we treat them as a trend rather than a scoreboard.

Google Business Profile

Profile views, direction requests, calls from the listing, and how your review count and rating have moved. For most local businesses this is the single most revealing section, and it is the one most agency reports leave out.

What we did, and why

A plain list of the work completed, with the reasoning attached. Not “ongoing optimisation”. The pages built, the listings corrected, the links earned, the technical issues fixed, and what each was meant to achieve.

What did not work

A section most reports do not have. If a piece of content did not land, a campaign underperformed or a ranking slipped, it is in the report with our reading of why. Hiding it only delays the conversation, and it is usually the most useful part of the review.

What happens next

The priorities for the coming month and what we need from you to do them, which is normally photographs, sign-off or an answer about something only you know. No surprises, no invoice for work you did not know about.

Verify it yourself

You own every tool we report from

Google Analytics, Google Search Console and your Google Business Profile are set up in your own accounts, with us added as users. Not the other way around.

That matters more than it sounds. It means you can open any figure we quote and check it, without asking us. It means nothing is trapped behind an agency dashboard you lose access to. And if you ever leave, the accounts, the history and the data stay exactly where they are, because they were always yours.

It also rules out the oldest trick in agency reporting: quoting numbers from a proprietary dashboard nobody outside the agency can audit.

Honest measurement

The metrics we refuse to lead with

Impressions on their own. Easy to grow, easy to celebrate, and perfectly capable of rising while your enquiries fall.

Keyword counts. “Ranking for 400 keywords” means very little when 380 of them are terms nobody in your area searches.

Average position. A single averaged number that can improve because you lost visibility for a competitive term and gained it for an easy one.

Proprietary visibility scores. If a number cannot be traced back to a tool you control, it is marketing, not measurement.

None of these are useless as context, and some of them appear in the report. They just do not get to lead it.

Drawn out

Where every number comes from

There is no seventh source that only we can see. Every figure in a monthly report is read out of a tool in your own name, which is what makes it checkable without asking us.

Reporting

How reporting works here

Q.01 How do you report SEO results? +

Monthly, in plain English, from your own Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Business Profile rather than from a dashboard only we can see. The report leads with the commercial numbers, form submissions, tracked calls and bookings, then explains their movement with visibility and profile data, then lists what we did and what we are doing next. Every figure can be checked by you in the tool it came from.

Q.02 Who owns the analytics accounts? +

You do. Analytics, Search Console and your Google Business Profile are set up in your accounts with us added as users, not the other way round. If you ever stop working with us, the accounts, the history and the data stay with you. Historical data is difficult or impossible to recreate, so an agency-owned account is a cost you only discover when you leave.

Q.03 Why don't you show case studies on the website? +

Because we would rather show you live dashboards for a business like yours on a call than publish a polished write-up you cannot interrogate. Numbers on a case study page have no context: you cannot see the starting position, the market, the budget or what else was happening. On a call you can ask all of that. Ask us on your discovery call and we will bring the relevant ones.

Q.04 How often will I hear from you? +

A written report every month, a quarterly review to check progress against the milestones we set, and a direct line in between. You will not be chasing an account manager for an update, and you will not get a monthly report that says 'ongoing optimisation' and nothing else.

Q.05 What if the numbers go down? +

They are in the report with our reading of why, and it is a conversation rather than a footnote. Rankings drop, algorithms change, competitors invest, seasons turn. Some of it is our problem to fix and some of it is the market. Either way it belongs in the report, because an agency that only ever shows good news is not measuring anything.

Q.06 Do you track phone calls? +

Yes, where it matters, which for most local businesses is nearly everywhere. Most enquiries to a trade, a clinic or a practice arrive by phone, so an agency measuring only form submissions is reporting on the minority of its own results. Call tracking usually changes the picture of which campaigns are actually working.
