Local SEO services
By researching what customers in your local area are actually searching for, we optimise your online presence so that it’s your business they see first. 85% of customers search online before visiting a store. If you’re not there, your competitor is.

When we talk about local SEO, we mean searches that are location based. Someone types “restaurant near me” into Google. Someone asks Alexa what time the local supermarket closes. Someone taps a map pin in their car’s sat nav.
Local SEO covers the results of these location-based searches that are NOT paid adverts: the blue links, the images, and above all the map results. It might seem contradictory to use online searches to increase offline footfall, but that’s exactly what local SEO does.
Your customers try to find you with “near me” searches, Google Maps, voice assistants and, increasingly, AI answers. If you aren’t appearing in those places, your customers simply can’t find you.
Every platform is a separate battle that needs to be treated separately, but within one wider strategy. That’s the job we take off your plate.

Our local SEO service is the work of getting your business to appear in local search results everywhere it needs to: Google’s local pack, Maps, Apple Maps, Bing Places, the directories that matter in your industry, and the organic results underneath.
A key component is making sure your information is identical and up to date everywhere: opening hours, contact details, service areas and reviews, the same no matter how the customer searches for you.
On your website we build out localised content and data that Google wants to see: location and service pages, JSON schema markup, internal linking and review signals, then we get it recognised across high quality publications with strategic digital PR.
The point is simple: when your customers are near you and ready to buy, they find you, your number and your front door.

Local SEO with us starts at £350 per month.
Starting price From £350 per month
Because local SEO is concerned with organic results rather than paid advertising, you’re paying for expert time, not ad budget. The cost varies with a few factors, like how many business locations you have and how competitive your niche is, so a multi-site group with a national footprint sits above that starting figure and a single location in a quiet niche sits at it.
Local SEO is time consuming and trial and error if you aren’t a specialist with years of experience, and it becomes unmanageable quickly across so many platforms. That’s why most businesses bring in a local SEO agency for support.
There is no setup fee and no minimum term. We’ll always give you a straight answer on cost for your specific situation on a discovery call, before you commit to anything.

Why it matters
The local pack sits above almost everything else on the page, shows your reviews, your opening hours and a button to call you, and it’s where high-intent local customers actually click.
Getting there isn’t luck. It’s relevance, distance and prominence: the exact signals our campaigns are built around.

Local ranking is not one position on one page. It is a different answer for every street the search is made from, which is why coverage gets planned as rings rather than as a postcode list.

Our local SEO starts at £350 per month, with no setup fee and no minimum term. What sits above that depends on how many locations you have and how competitive your niche is. Agencies across the UK typically run somewhere between £300 and £1,500 a month for local work, so treat anything advertised at £99 with suspicion: at that price nobody is doing the listing work, the content and the link building that actually moves a map pack position.
Listing and technical fixes can show up in weeks. Google Business Profile corrections, category changes and schema often move things quickly because you are removing a problem rather than building an asset. Ranking consistently in the map pack for competitive terms is a matter of months, because prominence is earned through reviews, mentions and links that accumulate. A realistic shape is early movement inside the first month or two, meaningful position change by month three to six, and compounding after that.
Regular SEO competes for a page of blue links on a national or global basis. Local SEO competes for results that Google filters by where the searcher is standing, which means a different set of ranking signals: proximity, your Google Business Profile, review volume and recency, citation consistency, and content that names the places you actually serve. A business can rank well nationally and still be invisible to someone two streets away, which is why the two are run differently.
No. Service area businesses such as electricians, plumbers, mobile therapists and trades rank in local results without a shopfront by setting a service area on the Google Business Profile and hiding the street address. A lot of our clients have no premises a customer would ever visit. The work is broadly the same, with more weight on service and area pages because there is no address doing that job for you.
The basics, yes, and you should. Claim and complete your Google Business Profile, get your name, address and phone identical everywhere, ask every happy customer for a review, and keep your opening hours accurate. That alone puts a lot of businesses ahead of their competitors. Where it gets difficult is the ongoing work: tracking what actually moved, building genuine local prominence, keeping dozens of platforms consistent, and diagnosing why a ranking dropped. That is what most people hand over.
The map pack is the block of three business listings with a map that Google shows above the organic results for local searches. It matters because it sits at the top of the page, it shows your rating, your hours and a call button, and it captures the searches where someone is ready to act rather than still researching. Ranking fourth means being on a page almost nobody expands.
Not by rankings alone, because rankings move with the searcher's location. We report from Google Analytics and Google Search Console directly, and pair position tracking with the things that pay your wages: calls, direction requests, form submissions, and profile views. If rankings climb and enquiries do not, that is a finding we bring to you rather than a number we leave out of the report.
Yes. We are based in London at 86-90 Paul Street, but local SEO is not run from a doorstep. Campaigns target whichever towns, cities or service areas a client actually covers, anywhere in the United Kingdom.
